Scholarships360, a scholarship web portal, has been around since December 2010 and boasts such features as scholarship listings, college application vocabulary, a blog, and their newest feature, three short “courses” on getting into college. In the right-hand sidebar, you can peruse their most recent or most viewed scholarship listings. The bottom of the page contains an “About” statement, Scholarships360’s Twitter feed, and “Popular Links.” Of those links, only the first three really work. The June and July Scholarships links take you to a “page not found” message. The Summer 2011 Scholarships link does work, but why would you want to go there?

We clicked on the Scholarships drop-down menu. You have a choice of High School, College, or Graduate Student listings. Each of these choices will take you to what appears to be a chronological listing of Scholarships360’s “scholarships of the day” (according to their Twitter feed; note: these are not published on a daily basis). Five entry blurbs are listed, but if you click on the “older posts” link, you will see more entries. Each entry has a link to a separate page detailing the scholarship award, eligibility, application requirements, judging criteria, and application deadline.

If you’re looking for merit-based scholarships, click on the Resources tab at the top of the page and choose “Great Schools, Great Scholarships.” Here you’ll find a list of schools offering merit scholarships, a brief note about each, and a link to the school’s website.

Scholarships360 also has a blog discussing subjects related to getting into college and paying for it. Last entry August 18, 2013.
